Verijet Launches 4th Wave of Air Mobility for the Public

Verijet Awarded Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate: Commences 4th Wave Mobility Service in Southeast US

Over 50% of air travel today is between 300 and 500 miles. Nevertheless, it still takes close to a full day of commercial airline travel or ground travel, and your actual curb-to-curb speed is less than 65 mph overall. I know! I used to do it all the time and it was miserable! Alternatively, imagine being able to fly from a small airport close to your home or office to another small airport close to your destination – on your schedule and at real jet speed! Imagine being able to do that in an hour or two instead of what typically amounts to a full day of travel. Imagine being able to go out to visit with a client and come back to have dinner with the family on the same day! VERIJET has figured this out and is now offering service to the public.

VERIJET received a Part 135 Air Carrier and Operator Certificate in mid-October 2020. VERIJET accomplished this in record time. The average timeframe is approximately two years to complete all 5 phases with the FAA. VERIJET did this in less than 12 months. Richard Kane, CEO and Founder commented:

“We are all exceptionally pleased! The FAA said that Verijet is the best carrier they’ve seen in 24 years -- a new gold standard for certifications. This is a testament to the caliber of the folks involved and their demonstration of what drive, discipline and collaboration can achieve! Verijet is now poised to launch and operate the safest, most efficient, short-haul point-to-point air mobility services in the US today utilizing the award winning SF50 Vision Jet by Cirrus Aviation.”

VERIJET began fleet operations in the Southeast region (a 1000-mile radius centered on Orlando, FL, Pensacola, FL, and Atlanta, GA) shortly after getting authorized by the FAA. Revenue flight missions commenced almost immediately. Since October 2020, the company has issued thousands of quotes and booked and completed over 400 flights worth more than $1.5M during its first 26 weeks of operations – all using its own Vision Jets. Today, VERIJET has a total of eight Vision Jets deployed as a floating fleet, with five more due shortly and more in the pipeline at Cirrus Aircraft to be released at a rapid pace. Cities like Pensacola, FL and Tuscaloosa, AL that lost scheduled airline carriers have welcomed VERIJET with open arms. Across the US, there are over 5,000 General Aviation (GA) airports. This means that more people than ever before will be able to fly private jets, on their own schedule, between smaller cities and communities and avoid busy, over-crowded commercial hub airports. During 2021, VERIJET will be opening new service regions rapidly as demand grows.
